Mouth Guard

People who engage in sports involving a high risk of injury (cheerleading, boxing, martial arts, hockey, football, soccer, etc.) should always wear a mouth guard. Mouth guards are effective in preventing concussions as well as dental and bone fractures. They also reduce the risk and severity of dentition and mouth tissue (lips, cheeks and tongue) injuries. Custom mouth guards made from an impression of your teeth are recommended for tooth protection.

A properly fitted mouth guard is easy to wear and does not obstruct respiration.

For more details on mouth guards, please ask your dentist.
